Jorginho Happy At Chelsea Amid Serie A Return Rumours

Italy and Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has revealed he is happy at Stamford Bridge despite rumours of his future.

Jorginho has always been linked with a return to the Serie A since his first season in England. The Brazilian-born Italian quickly established himself as a regular member in Chelsea under Maurizio Sarri.

Jorginho received a lot of criticisms from the fans and media in his first season, but seemed to have redeem himself during the early days of Frank Lampard as Chelsea head coach.

Prior to the sacking of Sarri, reports suggested that Jorginho would be joining Juventus to reunite with his former Napoli boss.

As the summer transfer window gets closer, the future of 29-year-old in West London has been a subject of another rumours, but Jorginho has quashed those speculations.

“At the moment, how am I going to think about the future two years from now, having what I still have to play this season. Then the Euro is coming,” Jorginho told TNT Sports ahead of Chelsea’s Champions League quarter-final first-leg clash with Porto.

“So, honestly, there’s no way to think ahead. In fact, I’m very happy here. I’m really happy here. So I don’t think about anything else either.

“Now, at the moment, there’s no reason to think about what will happen in two years, for example.”

“[The Napoli links] will always exist. There will always be all of that. But there’s no way I can think of anything else right now.”
